Shire Horse – ‘ SAMSON’ OO

Large shire horse with harness.  The Shire Horse is a breed originating in England. It is a tall breed, that is usually black or bay, with ideally four white feathered legs and a white blaze. It is a horse breed with immense power and they were therefore often used for the pulling of ploughs. Nowadays Shire horses are often used for publicity stunts, usually getting a lot of well-deserved attention!  Individually hand painted by Geke van Petegem and imported from the Netherlands.
